Warning lights and fault codes

An engine management, ABS or airbag light means the car's computer has logged a fault. Reading the code is only the start: the code tells you where to look, and finding the actual cause is the real job. A red warning light generally means stop; an amber one means get it checked soon.

Describe it first

Not sure what is wrong? Describe it on WhatsApp and get an honest answer. A short video of the noise, or a photo of the dashboard with the lights showing, helps a lot.

From fault to fix

Once the cause is found, you get a price for the fix. RDF covers servicing, brakes, timing belts, clutches, general repairs and engines and turbos, so in many cases the repair can be done on your drive as well. Steve P.: came straight away and fixed the issue promptly.
